Future Shock

Have you ever sat back and really thought about the incredible technological advances that have happened just in your lifetime? Especially for those of us born before the 1970s (me in the 60s), that explosion of technology has been mindblowing. I don't think any generation before us, ever saw such incredible advances. Certainly the early 1900s with the advance of the manufacturing age made a huge impact, but while the growth of production grew fast, it didn't change too much over time after that. Technology, however, started off with a bang, and ever after evolved at a dizzying pace, and hasn't stopped, or shown any signs of slowing down in the future.
